The Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks is serving as the lead agency working with the Access to Benefits Coalition, a broad based partnership of health and human services providers whose purpose is to conduct outreach and access to enrollment of eligible Ohioans in any of the numerous new prescription discount programs, including the new Medicare card. Throughout 2005, your foodbank will be receiving information, brochures, and enrollment materials about these various programs and we are asking for your help by distributing these useful and money saving opportunities to your member charities that are serving people who will greatly benefit by receiving lower cost medications.
