Health and Hygiene Program
The Health & Hygiene Program, was created to provide low income persons with essential over-the-counter medications, personal hygiene products and other non-food items that cannot be purchased with food stamps.
The program is funded through grants from The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.
"Medicine-chest basics”, such as cough, cold and flu medications, pain relievers, fever-reducers, vitamins, dietary supplements, head lice shampoo, anti-fungal creams and sprays help people function effectively in society and help prevent more serious illness that might lead to a doctor or emergency room visit.
You can help provide health and hygiene products to the Freestore Foodbank, just make a donation via our virtual product donation web page.
For more information, contact the Health and Hygiene Program Manager.
